Certification

In today’s diamond market it is imperative that to purchase with confidence you must be purchasing a diamond that is supplied with a diamond certificate from an independent diamond grading Laboratory.

A diamond certificate, also known as a diamond grading report is a report created by a team of gemmologists.
The diamond is evaluated, measured and scrutinized using trained eyes, a jewellers loupe, a microscope and other industry tools.
A completed certificate generally includes an analysis of the four C’s, the diamond’s dimensions, polish, symmetry and other characteristics as well as a clarity diagram or ‘plot’ showing the position of any flaws or imperfections.

Many round diamonds will also include a cut grade on the report.

Some laboratories also provide a laser inscription of the number of the diamond grading certificate or report on the girdle of the diamond for identification purposes.

At Australian Diamond Importers you can be assured you are purchasing a truly beautiful diamond with confidence as we sell only certified diamonds.
Every diamond sold by Australian Diamond Importers has been analyzed and graded by either GSL (Australia), DCLA (Australia), HRD (international) or GIA (International). These four laboratories are among the most respected in the diamond industry both here in Australia and within the International market and are known for their consistency and unbiased diamond grading systems. They are well known, established and reputable diamond grading labs.
